Frequently Asked Questions
When are rehearsals and when do they start?
- Rehearsals will run Monday-Thursday evenings
- Rehearsals begin late May/early June
I'm not an "on stage" person, how can I help?
- We are always looking for volunteers to help with set builds on Saturday mornings (starting early June, 9am); a variety of tasks are available from set construction, to painting, to the creation of props. Come and get involved!!
-We are also looking for volunteers to help at front of house (collecting donations, handing out programs, greeting guests) and selling concessions on show nights. The board will also reserve a seat for our show night volunteers.
-Interested? Show up on Saturdays at the theatre or use the "contact us" link on the side bar.
What does "no unattended seat saving mean"?
- This means that you are not allowed to place blankets/lawn chairs etc to reserve your seat for performances without staying with them. One person is allowed to save several seats, but must remain with the blankets/chairs that are holding seats. If you are seated in the accessible seating section and those requiring that space arrive, you will be asked to move your chairs/blankets back to allow individuals with disabilities to sit in the accessible seating section
How early should I get to the show?
- Due to an increase in show attendance over the past few years, if you would like a seat with good visibility, we have had people arrive as early as 6:30 or 7:00pm to get seats for the 8:00pm production.
Where do I park?
- Parking is available in the main City Hall and pool lot, but know that you may also need to park on the streets in nearby neighborhoods and walk to the theatre--you are responsible for making sure you are parking in a legal area.
How are the mosquitos?
- Although the park is sprayed for mosquitos, they are still present! Bug spray is allowed, but please do not spray in the bleachers, please go to the field or parking lot to apply bug spray.
